Woven on a handloom in Chanderi, Madhya Pradesh, on the same pit looms the town has used for generations. Every piece is made by hand, so a slight variation in the weave or the depth of a colour is the mark of the loom rather than a flaw. A Chanderi dupatta is light enough to carry all day and formal enough to lift a plain suit.
